Programme: The aim of this threeday meeting (from 15 to 17 March) is to define good practices for the correct use of the structural funds applied to R&D&i in national and regional terms. Duration: 3 days 15 March: From "synergies from policies” to “synergies from actions"The political vision and the point of view of the main players. 16 March: Parallel REGPOT and REGIONS sessions with practical cases presented and round-table discussions. 17 March: Discussion on best practices and possible synergies between structural funds, the Framework Programme and the Innovation and Competitiveness Programme. Conclusions and Recommendations.
Additional information: The week will focus on how to move from “synergies from policies” to “synergies from actions” in order to optimise the use of existing EU instruments in the area of R&D and to succeed in making the regions the real protagonists in building the knowledge society.
